Brooklyn Craft Central is entering its 5th year and this is cause for celebration! Coming this holiday, we’re pleased to announce this HOLIDAY MARKET 2012, spread over two December weekends for the first time ever – December 15 & 16 and December 22 & 23, returning to Littlefield in Park Slope/Gowanus.
We’re doing what we can to help those in need in our very own city, by supporting and promoting (and getting our hands dirty with) a wonderful relief project that helps young kids deal with this storm’s aftermath by engaging in healing art projects that lets them express themselves and gives a voice to their experience. It’s called the Sandy Art Relief Caravan Project, and it’s really picked up steam; they’re getting lots of support. PLEASE READ HERE.
Despite the setbacks our city’s been dealt, we’re moving forward as time slithers toward that inevitable holiday season, where you can’t avoid the worst of Christmas mall tunes. BUT YOU CAN. By avoiding the mall. You can support local artists, and get your choice of 70+ vendors, all the way until 2 days before Christmas. Curated shopping tunes by Williamsburg’s newest record shop, Norman’s, we’ll have drink specials and we’re adding more food vendors.
