Spring is in the House! That means the weather this weekend is going to be cold, hot, sunny, and cloudy. But it also means that the 2017 market season is fully upon us with big market openings all month!

Here are your Weekend Market Picks:

Saturday, April 15, 2017

Blak MarketThis is a brand new market in Brooklyn, where you can find local vendors selling jewelry, clothing, accessories, and food! Check it out in the schoolyard at the Francis de Sales School. It takes places on the first Saturday of every month. 11:30AM – 5PM, Classon Avenue and Union Street, Brooklyn

Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket: This farmers market has been serving downtown Brooklyn for decades! It’s beautiful, convenient, and filled with local produce. About now, you’ll also find spring plants for your gardens and window boxes. 8AM – 5PM, on the plaza at Court Street and Montague Street, Brooklyn

Hester Street FairOpening Day! Shop for vintage and handmade products, and enjoy amazing local food purveyors, plus Bronx Banner ales!  11AM – 6PM, Hester Street at Essex Street, Manhattan

Vegan Shop Up: This 100% vegan market pops up on Saturday at a vegan bar, Pine Box Rock Shop. It’s the perfect event for vegans and friends of vegans! 12PM – 5PM, Pine Box Rock Shop, 12 Grattan Street, Brooklyn

Brooklyn FleaIn case you haven’t heard, it’s the end of an era, as the Saturday Flea is no longer in Fort Greene! But you’ll find the market in full groove in Williamsburg (alongside Smorgasburg) and DUMBO. Saturdays 10AM – 6PM, 90 Kent Avenue; and Sundays 10AM – 6PM, Manhattan Bridge Archway, 80 Pearl Street, Brooklyn

Bushwick Flea: Did you know this small but outstanding flea market has a new location? It’s still in the heart of Bushwick, and it has excellent flea, vintage, and handmade products every weekend. 10AM – 5PM, 16 Harrison Place, Brooklyn

LIC FleaIt’s back! Last weekend, the largest market in Queens, opened for the season with local artisans, vintage collections, and world class food vendors. Metro Flea Little Italy: This sweet flea market is right in the thick of the action in Little Italy! 10M – 6PM, 109 Mulberry Street, Manhattan

Nolita Market: This picturesque market features some of New York’s best designers and handmade artisans. Loads of treasure to be found under the pretty tents! 11AM – 6PM, Prince Street between Mulberry & Mott Streets, Manhattan
