New York’s favorite outdoor market, The Hester Street Fair, is returning to the NOMAD area for a new season of HESTER NIGHTS. Located at the Hotel Eventi Open Air Plaza at 851 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets in the vibrant NoMad (North of Madison Square) neighborhood, HESTER NIGHTS hosts a weekly, all-food Thursday Night Market – the only night market in Manhattan — in a beautiful public outdoor courtyard with artisanal food vendors, beer and cocktails, film screenings and special musical performances. It’s the recipe for a perfect spring and summer evening – a bite with family, friends and co-workers while the sun sets, and a touch of New York glamour.

Hester Nights will also be your Thursday night destination to enjoy great music and live entertainment. This June, Hester Nights will be partnering with the 2013 Blue Note Jazz Festival for two nights of free live jazz, set alongside Hester’s food vendors and paired with specialty drinks from the Eventi Hotel bar. June 6 will feature the music, food and culture of New Orleans, and on June 13, Hester will put the spotlight on Latin Jazz.

THE HESTER NIGHTS FOOD LINE UP The hand-picked artisanal food selection at HESTER NIGHTS will highlight classic Hester Street Fair vendors as well as some of the most exciting new food in the city. The mouth watering lineup for 2013 includes newcomers:

  1. Khao Man Gai NY will be serving up one of the most popular Thai street dishes rarely seen inNYC- khao man gai (chicken with rice). This one-plate dish of all natural chicken, slowly poached with garlic and ginger, is served over fragrant Thai jasmine rice. They sold out at their debut at the Hester Street Fair opening.

  2. Deviant Chef will be serving Umami Burgers made from 100% organic grass fed beef mixedwith miso, soy and scallions, as well as their signature Schezwan Mabo Burger- Berkshire Pork mixed with black beans, Gochujang & scallions.

  3. Foodfreaks Banh Mi’s twist on the traditional Vietnamese sandwich will also round out the ethnic street food specialities.

  4. Ludlow Pizza will be debuting their made-to-order pies cooked in their on-site wood fire oven.

Hester Nights will also see a return of some of 2012’s favorite vendors, including:

  1. Artisanal ice pops from La Newyorkina.

  2. Savory Japanese Griddle Cakes prepared by OKO-TA.

  3. Gluten-free, gourmet mac & cheese from Good Eats to Go.

  4. Peruvian empanadas and alfajories from Jessy’s Pastries.
