My first piece of pumpkin pie this season was absolutely perfect. Crisp, flaky crust filled with smooth, deep, cool pumpkin and topped with a dollop of sweet whipped cream. I spotted the pretty little pies at Strudels and Pies by Hans at the Winter Village Holiday Shops at Bryant Park and had to bite into one.
Hans opens up shop once a year at Bryant Park and makes sweet and savory mini pies and traditional strudel throughout the holidays. Hans uses all natural ingredients, and each item in his display case is made daily. Ask him about all the different flavors — try as many as you can!
