There’s still time to enjoy the bounty of the summer farmers markets! I picked up these items on a recent Wednesday in the Union Square Greenmarket:
juicy beefsteak and heirloom tomatoes, and mini cucumbers from Eckerton Hill Farm,
luscious breakfast pastry and a loaf of organic ciabatta for lunch from Bread Alone,
and the amazing whole milk from Old Mother Hubbert/Back the the Future Farm, milk is so rich it’s almost cream. It’s great in coffee and makes for remarkable pudding too.
I’m bringing home peaches and corn I can eat! I bet you are too.
